In 1 Corinthians 2:3, the apostle Paul writes, "I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling." This verse speaks to the humility and vulnerability that Paul experienced as he preached the gospel to the people of Corinth.
As we reflect on this verse, we are reminded that true strength does not come from ourselves, but from the power of the Holy Spirit. We are all weak and vulnerable, but when we rely on the Spirit, we can accomplish great things for the kingdom of God.
It is easy to get caught up in our own pride and self-reliance, but the path to true success and fulfillment is found in humility and dependence on God. When we trust in the Lord and surrender our will to Him, He will give us the strength and wisdom we need to fulfill our calling.
Let us strive to follow the example of Paul and come to others in weakness and fear, trusting in the power of the Spirit to work through us. May we humble ourselves before the Lord and allow Him to use us for His glory. Amen.
